Pipes and drums on Parliament Hill - January, 2014

"Thank you to The Essex and Kent Scottish Pipes & Drums, who performed to a packed room of enthusiastic MPs and Senators during the Annual Robbie Burns Dinner on Parliament Hill on January 27/14. 'The best band in years' was the common refrain. Many thanks to Bryon Knight & Karen Barnes for their organizational work, and to Piper Caleb Thibodeau for his magnificent solo performance. You all did Windsor-Essex proud!"

Joe Comartin, MP for Windsor-Tecumseh,

SEARCHING FAMILY RECORDS

Almost every week we get an inquiry asking for information, photos or military records of past members of the Regiment. This most often concerns veterans of World War II. ALL personal records of members of the Regiment are sent to National Defence Headquarters then on to Library and Archives Canada immediately after release from the Army. Go to the link LIBRARY & ARCHIVES CANADA below or consult the PowerPoint below on how to access military records of family members. Thanks for your cooperation.
